Terms of Service

You may use Kitchen by Connect only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must provide accurate information when placing or managing an order and must not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse another person's information, or use automated means that place an unreasonable burden on the service.

Placing an order is a request to purchase the listed items. An order may be declined or cancelled if an item is unavailable, the supplied information is incomplete, payment cannot be confirmed, fulfilment is not possible, or an obvious pricing or description error occurred. Menus, prices, event dates, ordering windows, and availability may change before an order is accepted.

Available payment methods and any event-specific ordering, modification, cancellation, or refund conditions are shown during the ordering process or communicated by the Kitchen by Connect organizer. You are responsible for paying the confirmed total. Approved refunds, where applicable, may require processing time from the relevant bank or payment provider.

Estimated collection and delivery times are not guarantees. You are responsible for providing a complete address and current contact details and, where applicable, for being available to receive the order. Risk in food and other perishable items passes to you when the order is collected or delivered.

Menu descriptions may not identify every ingredient or allergen. If you have an allergy, intolerance, or other dietary requirement, contact the organizer before ordering. Do not rely solely on photographs or abbreviated menu descriptions when deciding whether an item is suitable for you.

Administrator access is limited to authorized personnel. Administrators are responsible for safeguarding their credentials, limiting access to exported records, and using customer information only for legitimate order-management purposes.

The optional Google Sheets export uses Google OAuth permissions to create and update order spreadsheets in a configured Google Drive folder. Administrators must have authority to connect the relevant Google account and export the included data. Google services are also governed by Google's applicable terms. Kitchen by Connect and its site content, branding, design, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of the service or its content.

We may maintain, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service. We aim to keep the service accurate and available, but temporary interruptions, delays, or errors may occur. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

To the extent permitted by law, Kitchen by Connect is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by use of or inability to use the service. Our responsibility for an affected order will not exceed the amount paid for that order, except where applicable law does not permit that limitation or the loss resulted from fraud, wilful misconduct, or another liability that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, our operations, or applicable law. The revised terms will be published here with a new effective date. Your continued use of the service after an update means the revised terms apply to later use.
